The contractor has placed advance warning signs to (1.) advise motorists they are entering a construction work zone and (2.) to delineate the project limits. VRX, Inc. is providing comprehensive construction engineering/management, inspection, utility engineering, and environmental compliance services for this project.
The project is adding two general purpose non-toll lanes in each direction, one HOV/transit lane in each direction, four direct connectors to Loop 1604, and one direct T-ramp connection to the new VIA Park & Ride Facility at Stone Oak Parkway. The project will include frontage roads as well as bicycle and pedestrian facilities. Auxiliary lanes will be added as needed.
