VRX developed drainage improvements for the northwest quadrant of the intersection of the westbound frontage road of President George Bush Turnpike and Alma Road in Plano, Texas.  VRX staff :

• Delineated drainage areas;
• Performed hydraulic calculations;
• Designed the horizontal alignment and vertical profile of 6-in, 375-LF PVC pipe underdrain;
• Re-checked existing system for flooding, capacity, ponding spread and height;
• Supervised the development of construction documents and details, including a single phase traffic control plan;
• Produced quantity takeoffs for the storm system and prepared quantity summary sheets and engineering cost estimates for construction;
• Prepared the general notes and proposal book for contractor bidding;
• Approved contractor submittals and shop drawings and provided construction-phase engineering services to the client.
