VRX provided facility project management for the branch chief for a newly-formed Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Branch for the Customs & Border Protection (CBP)-owned portfolio of land ports of entry. In this role, VRX provided facility management for all CBP-owned land ports of entry in the states of Washington and Montana. VRX’s facilities infrastructure management project managers played a vital role in establishing processes and procedures for the MRO.
In addition to establishing processes and procedures, VRX oversaw computerized maintenance management software implementation, provided LEED® guidance, regional statements of work, and oversight of MRO service providers. VRX staff acted as a liaison and subject-matter expert for CBP-wide Enterprise System Software.
Additionally, VRX provided project management for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)-emergent repair projects on land ports of entry on the Canadian and Mexican borders. VRX also performed research and development of Building Automated Systems and CMMS software implementation for the ARRA Design-Build
Port Modernization Program.
