The project contained a very aggressive schedule, completion of two mainlane gantries and the two new Keller Springs ramp gantries within six months, requiring day and night shifts.
VRX inspected signs, earthwork, drill shafts, columns, detours, concrete pavement, subgrade preparation, drainage construction, pavement markings, gantries and numerous electrical items. VRX’s resident engineer was instrumental in utilizing his traffic control experience for major closures on the Dallas North Tollway. Several closures on this project were implemented with minimum impact to traffic and adjacent business owners.
